All the looks celebrities wore for the 2022 Met Gala
- Celebrities flocked to the 2022 Met Gala in New York City on Monday.
- Stars dressed in "gilded glamour, white tie" for the "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" theme.
- Many arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing sparkling gowns, gloves, and tiaras.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds arrived wearing looks that exuded the night's "gilded glamour" theme.
Lively's strapless Atelier Versace dress was covered in a sequin pattern inspired by New York City's art deco architecture, while an oversized, rose-gold bow was wrapped around her waist.
In addition to the gown, the actress wore pink elbow-length gloves and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry — which included a tiara.
Reynolds opted for a more classic look: a brown velvet suit with a white vest and matching bow tie.
Her fashion team then removed a layer, revealing an entirely new look.
The teal version of her gown was inspired by the Statue of Liberty, according to E! News, as were her matching gloves.
The actress also told the outlet that the specific colors of the gown were meant to mimic the landmark's oxidization.
Gigi Hadid wore a standout Versace look.
Her all-red outfit had three layered pieces: a latex catsuit, shining corset, and oversized puffer coat. The model also wore pointed red boots, a beaded necklace, and an updo hairstyle.
Cardi B arrived at the Met Gala in one of the most elaborate looks of the night.
The rapper wore an Atelier Versace column gown that was designed with seven types of gold chains. According to Vogue's livestream, Versace estimates that more than half-a-mile worth of gold metal chains were used for Cardi B's dress. The embroidery took 1,300 hours and 20 craftspeople to complete.
Emily Ratajkowski made a splash on the red carpet in a two-piece Versace piece from the brand's 1992 collection.
Ratajkowski's look was originally worn by supermodel Yasmeen Ghauri on the runway, according to Vogue.
The "naked" dress was designed with a beaded halter-top and a voluminous skirt with a dramatic train on the back. She paired the outfit with simple drop earrings and gold sandals.
Hailey Bieber channeled Jerry Hall on the red carpet.
The model looked angelic in a white, silk Saint Laurent gown that was designed with a halter neckline and thigh-high slit. She accessorized it with black tights and a matching silk and feather jacket.
Hall wore a look very similar to this one on the YSL spring/summer 2002 runway.
"It's simple and feels elegant and chic," Bieber told E! on the red carpet.
Vanessa Hudgens stunned in a see-through Moschino gown with strategically-placed lace.
The black gown had puffed sleeves, a high neckline, and a flowing skirt with a long train.
Underneath, she wore pasties and lace panties, while she accessorized with diamond earrings and a bun hairstyle.
Anna Wintour chose a colorful frock with a poncho-style top.
Her Chanel ensemble had sequins in shades of blue, orange, yellow, purple, and white, and also a layer of feathered fringe.

Lizzo brought the drama to the red carpet in an embroidered coat and her flute, Sasha.
The Grammy award-winning singer arrived at the gala in a head-to-toe Thom Browne look. Lizzo wore a hand-embroidered gold and black coat that took 22,000 hours to make, she told Vogue during the outlet's red-carpet livestream.
"I'm just so happy to be in it, I feel like a piece of art," she told Vogue.
While walking on the red carpet, Lizzo also took a moment to play her flute, which she has named Sasha Flute as an homage to Beyoncé's Sasha Fierce alter ego.
Janelle Monáe's gown covered the musician from head to toe.
The sparkling black gown was designed by Ralph Lauren, and had white sequined stripes across its chest.
That pattern extended across the gown's headpiece, while its skirt had only silver sequins on its black fabric.
